The attacker: John Woeltz, 37 — a wealthy crypto investor from Kentucky, known as the “Crypto King of Kentucky.”

It started on May 6th, 2025.
Carturan arrived in NYC at the invitation of Woeltz — they had discussed “investments.”
But when he entered a luxury townhouse in Soho...
He was trapped.
His passport and devices were taken.
Then the torture began.
What happened over the next 17 days is shocking:
