Recently, the blockchain network has continuously faced attacks such as NPM (wallet address manipulation) and exploit smart contract (case study of the Nemo Protocol project on Sui).

Can Zama prevent these attacks?

For the NPM attack (wallet address manipulation): It can indirectly mitigate to some extent.

- If the dApp or wallet uses Zama's FHE, transactions and addresses will be encrypted before processing. NPM malware finds it difficult to swap addresses because the data is not in plaintext form.

- FHE ensures computations (such as transfers) occur on encrypted data, reducing risks from offchain malware.

- However, if malware has deeply infiltrated the user's system (such as changing the private key), FHE cannot provide complete protection – primarily protecting onchain data.

For exploit smart contracts like Nemo Protocol: It can be effectively prevented if integrated from the beginning.

- FHE allows writing "secret" smart contracts, where contract logic and input data are encrypted.

- Hackers cannot read or analyze the source code to find vulnerabilities (such as bypassing access), because everything is encrypted.

Zama is not a solution for everything (e.g.: 51% attack or DDoS), but it is a significant step forward for privacy, making blockchain safer against information threats. If networks like Sui or Ethereum integrate Zama early, similar incidents could be significantly reduced.

Quick review of CEX exchanges to see which is a candidate capable of surpassing Binance in the next cycle

This article is based on personal opinions and experiences. These are all the fairest comments based on the user experience perspective.

1/ Binance

In this cycle, they have joined hands with Wintermute many times to manipulate prices, kill long/short and send everyone to the island

The airdrop industry is in trouble with the appearance of Binance Alpha

Advantages: still the leading exchange in terms of liquidity and safety and reliability

2/ Coinbase: not experienced yet

3/ Bybit

After the incident, the exchange killed the trader team much more aggressively

The main users are the leaders because the exchange cuts the commission with the best incentives for the leaders (Bybit is famous for being rich and willing to spend)

Advantages: MNT price increased well. CEO Ben Tong has successfully steered the Bybit ship through the storm.

Maybe not for futures trading, but for spot trading + holding coins, Rich still chooses Bybit because of good liquidity and trust in the CEO.

4/ OKX: a good exchange, but quite a few coins

The exchange has made significant improvements. The exchange token price is pumped X3 and the trading interface is smooth and beautiful.

However, to compete with other tier-1 CEXs, it must list more coins. The biggest obstacle preventing OKX from succeeding is that there are too few hot coin pairs to trade.

5/ Upbit: haven't experienced it yet, but every coin listed on Upbit increases 😁

6/ MEXC

Famous for creating shitcoins according to the ladder to heaven model.

Advantages: cheap trading fees and quick listing of coin pairs. Vietnamese people quite like to trade on MEXC.

7/ Gate: not enough experience to evaluate.

Occasionally go to Gate to catch memecoin because the Gate team lists very early.

8/ Bitget:

This exchange is rarely used, but it has the first listing of Hyperliquid.

There is a Bitget Wallet Pay feature, scanning QR for daily payments is quite convenient.

9/ BingX: not experienced yet

So to surpass Binance, I still lean towards Bybit, OKX or Upbit (if open to foreign traders).
