⚠️ $TRX TRON DAO Hacked — Community Alert
On May 2, the official TRON DAO account on X was compromised through a targeted social engineering attack.
What happened:
• Hackers posted fake contract links, sent malicious DMs, and followed suspicious accounts.
• Even after access was restored, the attacker continued offering paid posts on behalf of the DAO.
• Stolen funds were transferred to OKX — the team has asked the exchange to freeze them and assist in the investigation.
TRON DAO warns:
• They never publish contract addresses or message users first.
• If you received a message on May 2 — delete it immediately.
What’s next:
• TRON DAO is cooperating with law enforcement.
• All recovered funds will be redistributed to the community.
