Public companies are starting to add altcoins to treasury, not just BTC. Fresh receipts: ✅ MemeStrategy (HKEX:2440) just became the first HK-listed firm to buy Solana, 2,440 $SOL via a licensed broker. ✅Meitu (HKEX:1357) set the precedent by adding ETH (and BTC) to treasury back in 2021. ✅IVD Medical (HK) disclosed a new ~$19M ETH treasury position in August. ✅GameSquare (Nasdaq) said it will add $ANIME to its digital-asset treasury (initial $2.5M open-market). ✅Sharps Technology (Nasdaq) is proposing up to $400M to accumulate SOL (plan stage). Why this matters: Treasury demand is sticky. When public companies diversify into ETH/SOL + ecosystem tokens, it deepens liquidity, validates narratives, and can anchor dips during risk-off. My take: $ETH has the clearest playbook; SOL’s on the board now via MemeStrategy. Expect more “small first, scale on success” allocations as boards get comfortable.
