CoinDesk 20 Index Sees Positive Movement With NEAR And LTC Leading Gains
According to CoinDesk, the CoinDesk 20 Index has shown a positive trend, currently trading at 3949.35, marking an increase of 1.1% or 41.73 points since 4 p.m. ET on Thursday. This index, which is a comprehensive measure of the cryptocurrency market, is traded across various platforms worldwide, reflecting the performance of leading digital assets.
Out of the 20 assets included in the CoinDesk 20 Index, 16 have recorded gains. Among the top performers, NEAR has surged by 6.3%, while Litecoin (LTC) has seen a rise of 5.9%. These assets have contributed significantly to the overall upward movement of the index, showcasing strong investor interest and market momentum.
Conversely, not all assets have experienced positive growth. Stellar (XLM) and Hedera (HBAR) have been identified as the laggards, with XLM declining by 3.4% and HBAR decreasing by 3.3%. Despite these setbacks, the overall performance of the index remains positive, indicating a robust market environment for the majority of the assets included in the CoinDesk 20.
