How does leverage actually work on Binance? (To make it clear right away)

Setting 50x or 75x doesn't mean you're trading with that leverage.
On Binance, leverage works through margin. It all depends on the amount you open the position with.

Example:
You have $100. Want to use 50x?
Manually enter 5000$ into the position.
If you only entered 100$ — you actually have 1x, regardless of the fact that it shows "50x" on top.
Leverage is not applied automatically.

How to use leverage wisely:

– Don't go all in. Better to use 30–50% of your balance.
– If you want to catch up — do it only in line with the trend.
– Don't confuse balance and position size — leverage is calculated based on the opened amount.
