šØ DUBAI JUST PICKED $XRP LEDGER FOR ITS REAL ESTATE TOKENIZATION PLATFORM!!! What will this do to $XRP !??
The Dubai Land Department, yes, the government, just selected XRPL as the blockchain backbone to tokenize one of the biggest asset classes in the Emirates.
Weāre not talking hypothetical Web3 use cases.
Weāre talking actual towers, title deeds, and billions in real-world value moving on-chain.
Why does this matter?
Because itās the first time in the Middle East a government property registrar is anchoring real estate to a public blockchain.
And not just any chain, XRP Ledger, with a 10+ year track record of uptime, speed, and cost-efficiency.
While everyone else is chasing hype coins and AI tokens, Dubai is choosing stability, regulatory readiness, and infrastructure that scales.
Just imagine what this unlocks: ⢠Fractional real estate investing ā at global scale ⢠On-chain title deed transfers ā near-instant ⢠Cross-border real estate markets ā in seconds ⢠Institutional-grade compliance baked into code
And XRPL is at the center of it.
Thatās why Ripple is now working with major players like Ctrl Alt, Dubai VARA, and Prypco to create a tokenized property market that actually works.
š $16 billion is just the start.
Middle East isnāt just exploring blockchain.
Itās implementing it.
And the rest of the world? Itās about to play catch-up.
I spent the past couple of days trying to get my thoughts in shape for 2025. For me, there are a couple of defining themes for the next couple of years. These are: - The age of Trump, and the state of the US economy - The acceptance of Bitcoin as a veritable and even preferred asset class by many governments and institutions - The rise of artificial intelligence (#AI), and - The state of the Nigerian #economy
Trump has formed a billionaire cabinet. This pro-business and pro-crypto cabinet will influence the US market in ways we haven't seen in a long time. And with people like #Trump and The #Elonmusk steering things, I expect the American economy to pretty expand over the next couple of years. š
Together with this change (age of Trump), or perhaps because of it, we're seeing massive acceptance of #Bitcoin šŖ by governments and institutions as a reserve of value. The momentum will keep building and cryptocurreny investors will print money as it gets into the mainstream.
AI I believe is still in its infancy; #ChatGPT and Meta AI are just a tiny tip of the iceberg. And just wait until the military joins the party! Other sectors like entertainment, logistics, agriculture, etc, will also change dramatically over the next couple of years (or decades) due to AI. I see trillion dollar companies being minted. š
And finally, for those of us ride-or-die Nigerians, the state of the Nigerian economy š³š¬. The past 18 months have been a terrible downward spiral. But it seems this is stabilizing now. (I said stabilize, not better; nothing is going to get better anytime soon!) However, what investors need is stability, so this works in our favour. People will start building again, and investors will come in. Policies are being developed to make business easier... but we are not going to escape from the escalating cost of fuel/energy/power. Still, I expect growth in businesses, the stock market, property prices, etc. šļøš
So, in conclusion, where should one start investing now? Below are my recommendations:
- Invest in #crypto. (If you're not doing this, you have no right to call yourself an investor)
- Invest in US stocks, and ensure you have a healthy exposure to AI-related stocks
- Invest in Nigerian stocks. I plan to stick with the Insurance sector - simply because I'm too lazy to do much analysis
- Invest in tech start-ups - if you have the wherewithal, you're not in a hurry to see returns, and you're willing to risk it all
- And of course, invest in real estate. When all the dust settles, this reliable wife will still be there for you.
Have you been thinking of how you can make lots of $$$ from nothing in crypto?
Have you heard stories of those who have made thousands of dollars in airdrops and the like and wondered how they did it? š¤ Well, wonder no more!
I have pasted a few links below where you can play very simple games and earn lots of money in return. Yes, all you have to do is play games - tap your screen - on Telegram! You don't believe? Just try one.
In my first year (2022) of trading futures, I lost all my investment - about $25,000.
Of course, I didn't start with losses. At the beginning, I was printing money taking big risks without understanding leverage and market fluctuations. Then Solana tanked and I lost it all in a day. It was a terrible time for me.
Now, I understand better how terribly volatile the crypto market can be, and I'm learning everyday how to manage my margin ratios. Millionaires will be made in this market and I plan to be among them.
So what's your story? How much did you make or lose when you started trading futures?
The market is pumping and everyone has now become a guru again! š
Please be careful who you listen to. When the wind blows, even the leaves start feeling like birds! You can only know those who know their onions in the middle of crisis, so be careful of the advice you take. Identify a few trusted people and stick to their analysis.
Winners and Losers as the Central Bank of Nigeria Removes Ban on Cryptocurrency Transactions
In a major reversal, the CBN finally lifted the ban on cryptocurrency transactions in Nigeria! With Nigeria š³š¬ ranking no 2 in crypto adoption globally, and growth rate estimated at ~24% according to Statista, this move was inevitable.
What does this mean for stakeholders? Who are the winners & losers?
For INDIVIDUALS: I see a major shift with cross border transfers. If you can transfer say $20,000 equivalent in crypto (USDT for instance) at $1 fee in 15mins, why spend $150 and then wait for 3 days? š¤·š½āāļø It makes absolutely no sense. With the increased ease, will come more crypto speculation, more millionaires, and more bankrupt people! It's inevitable that investment in cryptocurrency will soon start being benchmarked against traditional investment vehicles, and crypto will win - before the next crash š. We will see a shift in the investment climate.
For BANKS: The days of lording it over we poor folk with FX transfers are coming to an end. The banks will lose out with individuals in traditional USD transfers, but probably maintain that for institutions - for a while. Banks, being smart hawks, will however make up with commissions and the like. Last last, they'll be okay. Best part of this though is that it will bring lots of funds back into the mainstream and make it easier for the CBN to manage policy & regulation.
For CRYPTO PLATFORMS: I think crypto trading platforms e.g. Bitmama, Binance, Quidax, Patricia (if they can recover) etc will be the ultimate winners. With restriction lifted, activities on the platforms will become mainstream. That means more customers, more transactions, more commissions... š°šŖš² In addition to generating more revenues, they'll also find it easier to attract investors at higher valuations. I expect to see new startups and a renewed drive to raise funds in that industry.
