What do you think about copy trading?

I tried it a few months ago, I deposited $200 and after a month I withdrew $400, I thought this is a golden mine)) I deposited $800 and then something went wrong, my copy trader opened shorts on $ETH , $DOGE and $SUI , and when the market went up, he just disappeared, I had nothing to add to avoid liquidation, so I just got shaved for the entire amount(( I don't want to trust my hard-earned money to some copy trader who can just disappear and do nothing while the positions of his followers are being liquidated.
