Bitcoin Drops to US$76 Thousand. The President of the United States (US) Donald Trump has recently been reported to impose tariffs on Chinese imports up to 104%. This comes after both sides retaliated by imposing a 34% tariff last week.
"China also wants to make a deal, unfortunately, they don't know how to do it. We will wait for their action. This will happen," asserted Trump, as quoted by Bloomberg.
This plan immediately caused the price of Bitcoin to drop back to US$76 thousand in trading on Wednesday (09/04) morning. This figure is down 4.38% from the trading of the previous day at around US$79 thousand.

Bappebti has ratified PerBa (Bappebti Regulation) Number 2 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to the Regulation of the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency Number 11 of 2022 concerning Determination of the List of Crypto Assets Traded on the Physical Crypto Asset Market.
According to PLT Bappebti, Kasan, this regulatory update was carried out to meet market needs and provide certainty and legal protection for the public when transacting Crypto Assets on the Physical Crypto Asset Market.
In compiling this Perba, Bappebti adopted a positive list approach which aims to minimize the risk of trading in types of crypto assets that do not have a clear white paper or that have illegal purposes such as money laundering and so on.
The determination of legal crypto assets is carried out by the Crypto Asset List Assessment Team which consists of representatives from CoFTRA, associations and industry stakeholders.
