When 714🥦 Meets 714🐕: A Warm Journey Under the Same Name Resonance
On the continuous journey of construction and progress of Broccoli714, fate brought us to another '714'—a shelter that carries the hope of life.
On July 14, 2024, volunteers rescued more than 150 dogs from trucks heading to slaughterhouses. The efforts of thousands have granted these lives a brief respite, but the onslaught of distemper, diseases, and injuries still poses a huge test for this rescue team. Currently, there are still 65 unadopted dogs at the 714 rescue base.
As the excitement fades, the operation of the base relies solely on a few volunteers struggling to support it.
Broccoli714 has risen from adversity amidst numerous challenges, and this time, 'same name' has allowed us to transcend boundaries and hold each other's hands.
Today, the Broccoli714 community officially donated 7140 yuan in funds to support the 714 rescue base with real actions! 🥦🐕
This donation includes:
🥣 960 pounds of dog food — to ensure the dogs are no longer hungry
💊 155 boxes of medicine (deworming + wound care) — sufficient for the base's needs for half a year
Community members personally visited the 714 base to deliver this warmth and support.
This is not just a donation, but a choice — a choice to believe in kindness, a choice to take action, rather than just stand by.
