$DOGE During the last few days I've managed to (not exactly...) mess up again, this time with the same coin I had hope in: DOGE. As per usual, I could've gained a fortune if I didn't back out in the last moment... I was there when DOGE peaked at 0.25$, and the chart showed signs of a bear run. And I knew that, but still I hesitated. Ironically, mistakes were made: I made a long in a downtrend!!! A good portion of my budget was erased... The good news is, a while later some sell orders were made and the profit made up some loss. Still, GREED and FEAR are my greatest enemies; It always happens at the wrong time, especially when I see the correct pattern.
After a few days messing around, I've finally come up with a plan (sort of). This allows / forces me to keep track of my trading progress: How much I gain / lose, overall performance (compares to my standard goal).🤔🤔 And if anyone thinks the numbers are wrong, I don't blame you. That is more than 5M$ (5.5 BILLION PERCENT GROWTH), from a capital of 1$... The best thing is, I'm only required to make 5% gain daily.🤑🤑
And now.... comes the "not so good" news:😳😳 1. I need to increase the profit continuously, and it gets harder overtime. 2. The plan assumes "PERFECT" process (No loss), which in reality is highly improbable (for small & hobbyist traders). As it shows in the chart, I fail to do both.😳
This may be my first attempt to trade seriously, after so many soul-crushing losses. If anyone wants to try this plan, be my guest (change the rate if you like); If not, it's okay. Or you can share your way of trading!!! $BTC $ETH $BNB #TradingStories
$DOGE After a short break (again), it was decided that I'd try something new: Coin-M. The aftershock of the $ETH dump still lingers, so I'm being cautious this time. So far everything is going well. The gains are not significant honestly; but I'm in this for the long game, and as long as I keep the profit coming I'll be in good shape...#MarketPullback
$ETH Ok so.... First of all, I'm pretty much at fault here, making wrong trades at the wrong time. Greed has always been my biggest flaw. Secondly, WHICH ONE OF YOU DAMN WHALES DUMP IT LIKE THIS!!!! Well I guess this is a wake-up call for me.... Really need to start using stop loss from now, plus another break Maybe next month when paycheck comes I'll learn to trade properly
$ETH Last night was not a "really" good time for me to trade, fairly saying. Despite seeing a pattern, I took short position early. Too early... Being in denial as I always am, margin was increased in hope of getting a reversal. It was a good thing it did, but much later when I started to accept the loss. I suppose being stubborn sometimes is worthwhile... 😬😬😬
#TradeStories Today was rather strange: The coin that wiped out almost half my budget earlier in the day, now is earning me back every cent... The same old routine happened, as usual: I found patterns & made trades. But this time a pattern was wrong, and I paid a hefty price. I was devastated, and almost thought about taking another "Break". Yet I didn't... By the time I'm writing this post, I've recovered a large part of the loss. I really hope there is enough to end the day with some profit.$ETH
$ETH When I said my return to Crypto has been smooth, it wasn't actually. Expecting losses is now the norm to me, yet it still hurts every time... And the worst part is, my FOMO caused it, which explains all the losses. Luckily, I managed to turn the table and evened it out, so my portfolio keeps growing. Those beautiful trades were (in fact), very risky; But I made it out, alive and well. So... Any lessons here??? Of course NOT. I'm not even that good of a trader; I just know how to read charts. That's all... #TradeLessons
$ETH There's something I have to say: After the break, the best I expected was to make a few quick bucks; 5-10$, maybe 15$ at best. That was all I hoped for, with a meak 20$ budget. Today, though, is different. To simply put: 1. I see a pattern. 2. I made a trade.. 3. I go to work... 4. .... 5. Profit!?!? That was a 500% return (from 10$ capital, as always)... Well, let's just say Cryptos work in a mysterious way...
$ETH Technically saying I'm still taking some time off, so for the time being 40% profit is great enough (Though not really, number wise...) Off to a decent return. Nice... 👍👍👍
$ETH I suppose the break I had really did some justice. A chance was given to me to reflect on myself, and to make improvements. To say the least, my return this time has been smooth. I wonder, still, if I could've done any better; but for now a 100% capital increase (8$ -> 16$) in 2 trades is far more than enough. Maybe the mistake I made was being too greedy...
After the big $LAYER price dump earlier this week, I decided to take a break from the game, mostly to calm myself down and focus on work instead (definitely not because I don't any money left 🙄🙄🙄). For most people, 30$ might not be a lot. And frankly, me too. But seeing your hard-earned money vanishes overnight would give you feelings. Very NOT SO POSITIVE feelings. I must admit, I was somewhat lucky. I could've lost half of my saving due to that dump; It was, ironically, my own fear of losing that kept the money out (Well, most of it). As terrible as it was, I'd like to think of it as a lesson. What lesson in particular? I don't know yet. Maybe time will tell.
$LAYER Well... I suppose the results speak louder than words, in my case. Just when I thought I could make a profit, I was proven wrong. And the thing is, had I not made a VERY simple action, I could've earned an easy 200$ (from a mere 20$ capital). BUT (of course there's always a "BUT" somewhere around!!!), I got stupid and reversed the trade. And the rest was history. A straight slap in the face... After all, perhaps it fits my name: "Daily dose of Idiot trading".
$LAYER Update: By the time of the previous post, I had another trading going (while working overtime, of course...) Frankly saying, I think I'm getting pretty good with this whole "trading" game! Not as in Warren Buffet level, but still good... Yay... 🫠🫠🫠

$ETH So long story short... I saw a possible down trend, made a trade, set TP/SL, added a lot of margin (to avoid liquidation, again), and went to sleep. And the rest was history. Honestly I never expected such huge profit, but it happened so I'm happy anyways. ❤️❤️

$ETH Self-note: Set stop loss or add margin to avoid liquidation Friendly reminder: Do it or risk losing everything (10 USD lost in ~15mins, after grinding for a week just to get 7)
$ETH Another risky trade, though it was a good thing the market went where I expected Could've pulled out earlier for a better result, but profit is profit, hey!!!
