Why whales sold 143000 ETH?
Like old times when BTC was at 30000 to 50000 range then ETH was at a good price too but after BTC made all time high, ETH is dropping and dropping Continuously.
What are the reasons?? Ethereum (ETH) was hot cake back in 2021 till 2024.
Let's break it down:
Concerns
1. *High transaction fees*: Yes, Ethereum's gas fees can be expensive, especially during peak usage.
2. *Alternatives*: There are indeed other blockchain platforms that offer similar functionality, such as Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana, and more.
3. *Founder's involvement*: Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum's founder, is ahowing not actively involved in the project's development and research and lack of interest by team. No major updates.
4. *Developer sales*: While some Ethereum developers may have sold their ETH, it's not uncommon for developers to sell their tokens after contributing to a project.
5. *Supply*: Main thing..... Unlimited supply.
BTC has only 21 Million BTC coins in their lifetime but Ethereum's supply is indeed uncapped, which can lead to inflationary pressure.
Other projects with solid Fundamentals often give 3x to 10x in the last few years but ETH didn't make All time high since 2021.

Personal Opinion.
As bullish as some people are getting
BTC is still currently in a downtrend.
Trendlines are subjective - people draw them in all different ways - some use Log mode, others Linear mode, some use wicks and others use candle bodies, some use a combination of wicks and bodies.
I draw my trendlines like I draw my support/resistance zones - a zone as opposed to a single line.
To me - price action remains within my downtrend zone.
A Daily close above $85.5k would confirm a breakout from the downtrend.
But my key levels remain the EQ of the range ($92k) and flipping the key pivot point ($95k). Above $95k and I flip from bearish risk to bullish bias.

We could have 1 more low to go, however I am watching for Wave 4 to potentially be invalidated, which could mean that the A Wave low may be in.
Invalidation level for Wave 4 is crossing above the low of Wave 1 at $77,291.
Once Wave A is complete, we would expect a Wave B recovery bounce for several days before starting the final C Wave.

They see unemployment rising slightly from 4.0% to 4.4% by the end of the year.
Economic growth is expected to soften, but inflation is expected to remain elevated - especially the inflationary impacts that tariffs will create.
The Fed will be easing back on QT (Selling assets off their balance sheet), but not starting QE. There will be some Treasury flows that continue.
2 rate cuts expected this year - 1 in May or July, and 1 between September and December.
Target is to end year at 3.75-4.00%
US Markets:
Strong performance today
- S&P +1.3%, NDQ +1.5%, DJI +1.1% and IWM +1.5%
- S&P 500 getting really close to that 200-Day MA retest that we are waiting for to judge the reaction.
BTC:
As usual we saw price move in both directions during Powell's speech and Q&A session.
The CME Gap from 2 weeks ago has been mostly filled.
Still no clear bias on direction, we will have to see what markets do from here.
My expectations is for the rest of the CME Gap to get filled, and then hopefully we should be able to gauge direction
