Is money not real?
Money is essentially a social consensus — a system of collective belief. A 500,000 dong banknote has no physical value. It cannot be eaten, it cannot keep you warm, it does not inherently possess power. But because we all believe it has value, it has value. If tomorrow everyone stops believing in money, it immediately becomes just a piece of paper. Most money today does not exist in physical form. When you see your bank account balance, that is just a number in a database. Money transfers, e-wallets, cryptocurrencies... all prove that money is actually just data that can be created, moved, and lost by lines of code.
