Bitcoin pump first – Investors pour money into BTC because it is the “safest” asset in crypto, especially in the early stages of the bull run.
Then comes Ethereum – When BTC starts to stagnate or increase slowly, money starts flowing to ETH and other top coins.
Then comes mid-cap and low-cap altcoins – Finally, when FOMO spreads, investors start looking for bigger profits in smaller altcoins like XRP, ADA, SOL, etc.
Profit taking – back to BTC or stablecoins – After a strong rally, money flows back to BTC or to stablecoins to preserve profits.
Although XRP is one of the major altcoins, it is not attracting as much money as other coins at the moment. This may be due to the lack of driving factors such as the development of DeFi or NFT, or competition from other blockchain platforms.
