Don't Rush to Short $BTC Yet
$BTC has already touched $97,400 today — just $600 away from my original target of $98,000. Right now, it's hovering around $97K. I know a lot of people are thinking about shorting here, but I’d say hold off for now.
Why? Because tonight’s non-farm payroll data release is a big one. And if you've been in the game long enough, you know how these major news drops can send the market flying in both directions. It's better to sit tight and wait.
If the data released at 8:30 PM is bullish, $BTC
could easily break above $98K and push even higher. That said, I’m expecting that once this event passes, the bullish momentum might slow down — we could see a solid correction coming soon after.
Also, keep in mind the interest rate meeting on May 8th. That’s a wild card. Whether they cut rates or not could completely shake the market, and honestly, there’s no way to predict how that’ll play out. Best to stay alert and not jump the gun.
