Today is 16 years and 135 days after the Bitcoin genesis block —- the current hashrate is 850~ exahashes per second … sustaining this level of hashrate produces all the block rewards at the current 5th halving cycle, or 144 blocks per day. There are 3.125 $BTC in each block. That’s 450 $BTC / day, or $46 million / day in rewards... or $17 billion annually. Bittensor subnet 14 (@TAOHash) has incentivized the decentralization of hashrate and disaggregated nearly 5 EH/s … representing > .5% of total Bitcoin hashrate, or close to $100M / year … in 11 days from zero.
