What I was able to investigate with support from the Worldcoin app..
On July 30, the Chicken Farm contract was attacked by a malicious player who exploited a vulnerability and drained around 65% of the shared fund (over 50,000 WLD!), which affected the internal balance of the game.
📌 Important: Chicken Ville was not hacked, but we paused its contract as a precaution because it shared part of the same code.
💥 What happened?
A player deployed a custom contract to exploit the egg purchase function, sending WLD to their own wallet instead of the game. This allowed them to collect huge amounts of eggs without adequately contributing, and they repeated the trick several times until they drained the fund.
