I also asked myself this when I was young, at the age of 24 after just graduating and working as an engineer for a few months, struggling with daily life. People enter the market at the right timing, trading is easy to win, buying what wins, buying in the morning and profiting in the afternoon, financial freedom. At this point, there will be a mindset: "As long as I have enough courage and seriousness, I can live by trading."
But the truth is: "Trading to live – completely different from trading for fun, not as sexy as what people often post on IG, Tiktok..." It is an Extremely Pressured and stressful job. When the market stops rising, as people say it’s Altcoin Season, there will be a long downtrend period, lasting a year, or even 2, 3 years.
At this moment, you realize that when there is no salary every month, each trade carries the weight of survival. When you enter a bad trade, you can't cut losses because "this month I need money." With no monthly cash flow, what will you live on? If there is still pressure from family, relatives... then there is definitely no way out. People work full-time in this industry because they have many other income sources from this market, have assets outside, have passive income, have savings, and many other sustainable things behind.
If you decide to quit your job to trade coins, you should first have some stability behind you. Of course, there are still some successful people (because a few of my friends have also succeeded), but not many and it is not for those who always seek Safety. Crypto can give you freedom. But freedom does not come from quitting your job. It comes from knowing what you are doing – and doing it right.
