Poetic Update

It has been 3 months since I innocently transferred my assets to scammers, in the false hope of receiving some #eth for a collection of handmade drawings.

The course I obtained through this experience taught me both sides of the web3 coin.

Protection and profit lie in knowing that:

- All information is public

- NEVER share your main address if you don't want to be snooped on by a scam block

- The same “anonymity” that protects you also protects the scammer :/

- But with certain precautions, you will be very safe

All of this is the foundation for being a web3 artist

Because there aren't many willing to help, but there are plenty to criticize and steal from you.

My Journey as an Investor in Cryptocurrencies and NFTs

I started my journey in the crypto universe attracted by decentralization, but I realized that complex terms and risks of scams can put many people off.

My first experience was here at Binance: simple registration, identity verification and linking of a debit account. I bought cryptocurrencies via PIX without fees (amounts between R$10 and R$2500). The fees only appear on trades and withdrawals (R$3.50 per withdrawal, regardless of the amount).

In the second experience, I used Coinbase with a credit card and balance. All purchases are international and have fees: for example, when buying R$50 in crypto, I paid R$5 in fees + R$1 in tax. Despite the fees, it is an accessible platform.

Since my focus is NFTs, I ended up exploring other platforms, such as:
- Phantom (Solana)
- Core (AVAX)
- Kukai (XTZ)
- Xumm (XRP)

Each one requires a specific approach and a minimum amount to activate the account (around R$100-R$150 in the native currency). These amounts are necessary to access NFT marketplaces, such as Salvor and OBJKT.

Both brokers (Binance and Coinbase) have different approaches, but they are good options depending on your focus in the crypto world.

Today, I had the immense pleasure of being heard in a live among the OGs of cryptocurrencies on X. For hours, the space was open to connections, dialogues and genuine exchanges. Ordinary people and those interested in evolving in the Web3 universe came together, and I was also able to contribute. I asked for an opportunity and, after a few minutes, the great @MarTech opened my microphone. He is an example of humility and action, someone who uses his tools to make a difference and help everyone grow together.

**Pros and Cons of NFTs: My Journey**

The world of NFTs is fascinating, but full of challenges. I share my experience to help those who are just starting out:

- Growing market with real opportunities.

❌ **Cons:**

- I was scammed: a "collector" disappeared after I sent him the fees to receive my NFTs. This made me question whether it was worth continuing.

- High competition and market volatility.

- Technical complexity for beginners.
