The <t-37/><t-38/>#Petro Petro, the cryptocurrency created by the Venezuelan government in 2018, was promoted as a stablecoin backed by natural resources such as oil, gold, and diamonds. Nicolás Maduro presented it as a solution for the Venezuelan economy, but its implementation faced multiple problems. Despite its ambitious launch, the Petro never managed to establish itself as a reliable digital currency. In March 2023, all operations with the Petro were suspended following a corruption scandal at PDVSA, in which billions of dollars were diverted. Although it initially saw some use in paying taxes, salaries, and services, its adoption was limited and its value was fixed at $60 by the government, which generated distrust. Currently, the Petro appears to be in an "induced coma," with little prospect of recovery.
Constantly, Binance users publish articles in which they offer to generate income with the platform without the need to invest. To do this, they show you a QR code that you must scan or a link address to access, and once there you must follow a series of steps to start generating money. An experienced user simply ignores this information, as we can differentiate between a deception and reality, the reality that "it is too good to be true."
But unlike the older ones, new users are naïve in this matter, ignorant of how this platform works.
This cryptocurrency investment platform is raising concerns in the Latin American community due to its lack of transparency and suspicious practices.
1. Lack of transparency: - There is no clear information on how they generate profits. - The terms and conditions are not well defined, making it difficult to understand the associated risks.
2. Possible pyramid scheme: - Experts and users compare HV IJEX to other recent frauds, such as GoldenSun/Cowcoin and Solesbot, which collapsed leaving thousands affected.
Recently I found a Binance user who possesses all the characteristics of a poorly made 'fake account':
• Profile picture apparently taken from the internet (They are usually of women to convey trust). • Repetitive messages promoting or sharing referral links.
To my surprise, many people request information to work in the new mining that this account (let's call her Sofi as her username indicates) offers.
So I decided to investigate and show you without the need to interact with the page, that it is a total scam and a waste of time.
Donald Trump made history by becoming the first sitting U.S. president to address a cryptocurrency conference. At the Blockworks Digital Assets Summit, Trump not only promised to make the U.S. the "crypto capital of the world," but also praised the "pioneers" of the sector for their potential to revolutionize the banking system and expand the dominance of the dollar. He even mentioned stablecoins as if they were the new national hero. Who would have thought! The same man who once tweeted furiously against everything was now talking about blockchain and financial privacy.
Trump Mining via Telegram, Another Crypto Scam? Part 1
Note: We do not believe in the veracity of this modality - Read the last paragraph.
Let's remember a bit about what mining is. Cryptocurrency mining is the process by which transactions are validated and new blocks are added to a blockchain. This process requires significant computing power, as "miners" solve complex mathematical problems to secure the network and in return, receive rewards in the form of cryptocurrencies. "Recently", a new cryptocurrency has emerged, better known as a "memecoin" called #TRUMP (most of us know the origin, and if you don't know, ask us in the comments), which started with an approximate value of $70 and currently has an average value of $12.
(Share your opinion and experience in the comments) To provide context, I received offers from people promoting this broker called Quotex, so I decided to investigate.
"Quotex is a digital options broker that allows its users to invest in over 100 markets. However, it has recently attracted attention due to certain irregularities and for operating from a tax haven."
