657,000 #BTC will be extracted between 2024 and 2028. 600,000 BTC have already left exchanges since February 2023. The supply is running out. Institutions are thirsty for BTC and demand is rapidly increasing. When scarcity meets insatiable demand, the outcome is inevitable.
I would have predicted a rough patch for the btc ETFs given the drop below $100k (overdue for a breather) but no, they roared back with nearly $1b Friday, which lifted the 1W to positive net. Good sign. The scoring was spread around too, Dream Team-style- also a good sign.
NEW: 🇫🇮 Finnish trade paper, Kauppalehti, predicts Bitcoin to crash by 40% in 2025 🤔
“Trump's honeymoon with bitcoin investors will end by the fall, as the crypto industry's huge expectations fail to materialize. This, along with the decline in US stock returns, will break bitcoin's bullish cycle, and a correction will shave 40 percent off its peak prices by the end of the year. Many investors are fleeing bitcoin from the following US ETFs.”
Vivek’s ETF company has filed for a Bitcoin Bond ETF that will track (using swaps) convertible bonds issued for the purpose of buying Bitcoin- so essentially it’s a Microstrategy convertible bond ETF until other firms do the samehttps://x.com/ETFhearsay/status/1872377679376453708?t=fAKFFEAqaO9yNsvL7f9LRw&s=09
After news broke yesterday that 🇷🇺 Russian companies are using Bitcoin for international trade, the odds of 🇨🇳 China legalizing Bitcoin by 2026 have risen to 47% on @Kalshi 👀
🚀The HISTORY shows that the CHRISTMAS BULL RUN has just BEGUN
🔸The 7-day trading period that starts on Christmas Eve is one of the strongest periods for the SP500 🔸The chart shows the returns of the SP500 over time during the period from December 24 to December 31. 🔸Historically speaking, there is no stronger 7-day period for the SP 500 than this 🔸On average, the SP 500 has had a return of +1.3% during this week. 🔸Just yesterday, the SP500 closed up 1.1% and returned to above 6,000. 🔸Only the years 2015, 2016, and 2023 have recorded negative returns during this period since 2009. 🔸On the other hand, from December 15 to 31, since 1950, the SP500 recorded an average of +1.48% 🔸Since 1950, there have only been 2 occasions when the SP500 closed this period down for 2 consecutive years, 🔸This is important because the S&P 500 lost -0.9% during this period last year
👉This is GOOD for #crypto, as #Bitcoin tends to FOLLOW the MOVEMENTS of the SP500, history suggests that the SP500 is about to RISE
JUST IN: Vivek Ramaswamy’s Strive Asset Management files for a Bitcoin Bond ETF that would give regular investors exposure to the growing convertible bond market for companies with Bitcoin treasuries 👀
TRUMP: "We'll be creating so much electricity that you'll be saying, 'Please, please, President, we don't want any more electricity. We can't stand it. You'll be begging me. No more electricity, sir. We have enough. We have enough.'"
