On April 5, 2024, CESS (Cumulus Encrypted Storage System) attended the first council meeting of the year as a deputy member of the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association. The meeting featured renowned companies and experts from various fields, focusing on advancing the standardization of Web3.0 fields.
The meeting, chaired by Lee Ming, Executive President of the Association, and organized by OKLink Blockchain Holdings Limited, discussed the development of Web3.0 in Hong Kong and the Association’s work plans. Suggestions were made by various members, including legislative councillor Qiu Dageng and OKLink’s Chairman Ren Yumale, focusing on providing advice and technical support for Hong Kong’s government in Web3.0 development and emphasizing the need to address real industry problems through standardization. Key topics including industry directions such as Depin, RWA, exchanges, stablecoins, green finance, GameFi, DeFi, and RFi were also discussed.
Following the adoption of the proposal for decentralized storage industry standards, CESS continues to contribute to the standardization of the Web3.0 industry.
