sSOL Delegation AVS Tutorial, with Yield Estimation
Many people have minted sSOL but do not know what to do next.
The core gameplay is to — delegate sSOL to AVS (Active Validator Set) and earn extra rewards.
Now I will guide you step by step and also calculate a yield estimate.
⸻
Step 1: Prepare sSOL
• Mint sSOL on the Solayer platform using SOL or LST (mSOL, JitoSOL);
• Ensure you have a small amount of SOL in your wallet to pay for transaction fees.
⸻
Step 2: Choose AVS Node
• Open Solayer → Go to the AVS delegation page;
• The system will list multiple nodes, along with APR and security ratings;
• It is recommended to prioritize nodes that balance yield and security, rather than just looking for high APR.
⸻
Step 3: Complete Delegation
• Enter the delegation amount and click 'Delegate';
• Confirm the transaction, and the delegation will be completed in a few seconds;
• From this moment on, your sSOL will be generating dual yields.
⸻
Step 4: Yield Estimation
• Base Yield: SOL staking APR, about 6% or so;
• Additional staking rewards: from AVS, assuming an extra 4-6%;
• Total Yield: annualized 10%-12%, far higher than simply holding SOL.
⸻
Step 5: Un-delegate and Withdraw
• You can 'Undelegate' at any time on the delegation page;
• After waiting for the unlock period, sSOL can be exchanged back for SOL;
• Liquidity is controllable, and risks are relatively low.
Summary
sSOL Delegation AVS = SOL Base Yield + Additional Staking Rewards.
This is why sSOL is considered the core asset of the Solana re-staking track.
Simple operations can significantly enhance capital efficiency.
