According to a report by the Belarusian official news agency BelTA, Belarusian President Lukashenko stated at a government meeting on September 5 that clear and transparent regulatory rules and supervision mechanisms should be established for the cryptocurrency market. He pointed out that although relevant instructions were issued as early as 2023, no formal documents have been seen yet, and inspections found that cryptocurrency platform fund registrations were in violation, with about half of the investors' funds having been transferred abroad and not returned.
