🚀 «What is Bitcoin halving and why is it important for the market?» #bitcoin
🔹 Halving is an event in the Bitcoin network when the reward for miners for mining a block is reduced by half.
🔹 This happens approximately every 4 years (every 210,000 blocks).
🔹 The goal is to control the emission of BTC and make it a more scarce asset.
📊 Historically, after each halving, strong bull cycles have begun:
– In 2012, the price of BTC rose from ~$12 to > $1,000.
– In 2016 — from ~$650 to > $20,000.
– In 2020 — from ~$8,000 to > $69,000.
⚡ Why this is important: supply decreases, demand increases → price has long-term growth potential.
🧠 Personally, I believe that halving is one of the main factors that makes Bitcoin “digital gold.”
