🔥🔥🔥 SEC'S MAJOR DELAY MOVE ON CRYPTO ETFS‼️
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to postpone eight crypto ETF applications until August 18, 2025. Among these decisions, the ETF that combines Bitcoin and Ethereum from Donald Trump's Truth Social stands out; the final decision date has been set for October 8 (Cointelegraph, 2025). Additionally, the XRP ETF applications from Grayscale, CoinShares, Canary Capital, Bitwise, and 21Shares have been postponed to October 19 (CryptoSlate, 2025).
Franklin Templeton's spot XRP ETF has also been previously delayed, with the final date being November 5. Grayscale's Dogecoin ETF has been moved to the period between October 2025 and January 2026, while CoinShares' Litecoin ETF has been shifted to October 23 (BeInCrypto, 2025).
21Shares' Ethereum staking addition proposal has also been postponed, but no specific date has been given. Last week, delays were also reported for VanEck, 21Shares, and Bitwise's Solana ETFs, along with another Dogecoin application (CoinGape, 2025).
