ETHEREUM WITHDRAWAL QUEUE REACHED RECORD LEVELS❗️
The number of people wanting to withdraw their staked Ether on the Ethereum network is rapidly increasing. As of August 2025, the withdrawal queue has exceeded 890,000 ETH, representing a value of approximately 3.7 billion dollars. This increase is driven by factors such as geopolitical uncertainties, market fluctuations, and profit-taking. Staking rewards investors while contributing to network security; however, withdrawals can increase due to liquidity needs or risk aversion. Due to network limits, the withdrawal time has extended to 15 days, which protects the network by preventing sudden exits. At the same time, there are 292,000 ETH (approximately 1.3 billion dollars) waiting in the entry queue, with an entry time of 5 days. In liquid staking protocols like Lido Finance, the stETH/ETH ratio can fluctuate, carrying depeg risk in case of a demand drop. The price of Ether has fallen to 4270 dollars with the latest drop (CoinDesk, 2025).
Similarly, the net withdrawal is around 650,000 ETH, which could create short-term selling pressure (Validator Queue, 2025).
According to Cointelegraph, while institutional purchases balance it out, the support level at 4200 dollars is critical (Cointelegraph, 2025).
As a result, these dynamics may affect staking participation while testing Ethereum's long-term stability.
