2025-08-19 Night Line
After battling heavy rain, I arrived in Xinzhou, Shanxi, got settled, and after dinner, I'm here now…
I haven't checked for a day, so I don't know what negative news has come out. The decline from Sunday night has extended into Monday, but it's okay now. Apart from Ethereum, Bitcoin and Solana have returned to the consolidation range (Solana has formed a new oscillation range in its consolidation).
If we can still hold above the key level at four o'clock, the market will recover, waiting for the next support to act.
Bitcoin needs to hold the 1155-1157 range until the daily line changes. The recent resistance level is 116230 (the area where it previously consolidated), followed by 1169-1173. If it breaks 1173, it will return to a strong bullish trend, and as long as it doesn't drop below 1135, the daily bullish trend is not over.
Ethereum needs to hold 4320, and in the worst case, it must hold 4276. If it can't hold here, there's a chance it will continue to go down to the daily line. If it stays above this price and can close a 4-hour candle above 4375, it will return to a 4-hour bullish trend.
Solana actually performed a bit better, with new support formed in the consolidation at 180. As long as it holds here, it can continue to look at 187. If it can close a line at this price, it will return to a strong bullish trend.
I don't know what news came out today, but as long as it's not policy-related negative news, the impact on the market is temporary.
This is a good time to make short trades, just a quick nibble before running away, as the trends across different timeframes are not aligned.
Currently, it's a bullish trend on the 1-hour, a bearish trend on the 4-hour, and a bullish trend on the daily. If unsure, it's also a good choice to remain cautious; after all, not taking a position doesn't lose money.
Tomorrow I'm heading to Datong, and I won't be online during the day…
If you have questions, feel free to leave a message, and I'll try to reply when I see it.
