💡 The Scam:
A “Web3 team” from Ukraine asked a candidate to clone a GitHub repo during an interview. Luckily, the candidate refused. Later analysis revealed the repo contained:
🔴 Hidden backdoor code
🛑 Malicious dependencies
💰 Tools to steal wallet & browser data (Chrome extension storage, even mnemonic phrases)
📡 Data sent straight to attacker’s server
