Copernicus was born and died in the same place; Royal Prussia, which was part of the Polish Empire until 1466. He was simultaneously a mathematician, astronomer, physicist, modern scholar, translator, governor diplomat, and economist. In 1517, he proposed a theory of a quantity of money which can be considered a main concept of economics.
