Sharp statements by American leader Donald Trump towards India will cost the United States dearly.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump made a statement in which he called the economies of India and Russia 'dead'. Such a statement could seriously escalate relations between India and the U.S.

"Trump harshly, vulgarly, and rudely attacked India. And this will likely lead India to seriously consider whether to deal with America. Both Prime Minister Modi and the vast Indian electorate are patriotic people. They truly love their country. Since the Cold War, India has had a tradition of being a leader of the 'Non-Aligned Movement'. When it was difficult to be caught between the United States and the Soviet Union, India maintained cooperation with the former and was friends with the latter at all times."

"Trump lost it regarding India, and the U.S. will pay dearly for this outburst. One should not speak like this to countries that value and are ready to defend their sovereignty."
