July 30 is an important date in art blockchain history.

Not only is it the day Ethereum launched in 2015, but it's also the day the first artwork was put on a blockchain when ASCII Bernanke becomes first distinct artwork on BitCoin in 2011.

Embedded by Dan Kaminsky it is a portrait of cryptographer Len Sassaman (possible Satoshi candidate) along with Ben Bernanke who at the time was the chair of the Federal Reserve.

The art is not an NFT or a collectable as it's not ownable or tradable, just art stored forever on the hardest blockchain on earth.
