#BNB创新高

When I saw Binance Chinese posted 'the earliest holding time of BNB', I couldn't help but check my account and export the transaction history from 2017.

Seeing that moment really made my heart bleed: 💔47U sold 6 BNB! 🥲

Thinking back to when I just arrived in Shanghai, my salary wasn’t high. There were a lot of exchanges in the circle, often holding activities like 'register to receive platform tokens'. I had no understanding of blockchain, just felt like a CX project, thinking I would just make a quick profit and run 💸.

One night I stayed up late to register dozens of Binance accounts 🧑‍💻, each account rewarded 0.1 BNB, after summarizing I sold them all and kept only 1 BNB, then deleted the app and left the circle, haven't been back for years.

Until 2021 when I worked at an internet company, many of my colleagues were trading shitcoins and playing DeFi. There was a young programmer who had just graduated who secretly opened accounts with others, and not long after he quit his job, posting luxury cars and travels daily on social media (made me so envious). I chatted with him, and he said he only hoarded BTC—of course, I didn't listen to him, hahaha.

At that time, the market was hot, anything could rise, and I indeed made some profits. But as expected: 519 was clear as day, the retail mindset was laid bare—selling when it falls, buying when it rises. After the market turned bearish, I left the circle again.

At the end of 2022, I was attracted back by inscriptions, didn’t get to eat the meat, but did take a lot of hits 🥲.

At the beginning of 2023, thanks to merilin🧙‍♂️, although the tokens weren't strong, the 'mandatory lock-up' effect was pretty good. It allowed me to buy BTC for over 40,000, and later the Runestone airdrop even made up for the losses from the inscriptions.

From 2024 to 2025, I kept holding BNB, going from over 400 to now 📈. Looking back, BNB has been the most stable coin for me to make money in these years. In contrast, trading shitcoins and NFTs have lost quite a bit; my mindset of being overly cautious really suits stable holdings.

Now I increasingly feel that the crypto circle is quite interesting; I can't make big money, but making a little is still okay, especially with the alpha in the past few months; for other coins I’m optimistic about, I’ll hold them for a long time, and let time handle the rest.

By the way, I should add—on Binance’s eighth anniversary, I even won a lucky koi! 🐟

Hahaha 🤣 I hope $BNB reaches 1000 soon
