American Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained that Donald Trump absolutely wants to find a solution to stop the war in Ukraine. Trump loves to play the role of peacemaker, the one who ends conflicts. But this time, it’s stuck.
According to Rubio, Trump has "inherited" this war and has tried everything to stop it. He often talks on the phone with Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, and they even have good personal contacts. But despite this, nothing changes in Ukraine. This increasingly annoys Trump, who thought that his relations with Putin would be enough to solve the problem.
Now, the United States wants to take action. But what action? Are they going to send more weapons to Ukraine? Impose new sanctions on Russia? Or perhaps try to oust Ukrainian President Zelensky? For now, no one knows.
