$BTC in custody or at the broker?
Some people have this doubt that causes recurring discussions: “Should I keep my $BTC in custody, or at the broker? Which is correct?
In theory, there is no problem in either case, but custody is a guarantee that your $BTC will be safe in such a way that no one knows about the existence of your Bitcoins, a way to protect yourself from the infamous 'Broker Crashes'.
