As the Vaulta network enters a critical evolution phase, the release of Spring v1.2.0, the upcoming deployment of system contract 3.10, and the full takeover of staking and reward logic by the $A token, the most pressing questions for community members and node operators have emerged:
This article provides you with a technical FAQ, and after reading it, you'll know: what to do now and what to prepare for next!
🔄 1️⃣ What is Spring v1.2.0?
✅ Gossip automatic peering feature is online
✅ Supports dynamic node discovery & automatic topology reconstruction
⚠️ Requires system contract 3.9 (integrated into 3.10) to enable
📢 Nodes please upgrade to Spring v1.2.0 immediately to lay the foundation for subsequent feature activation.
🪙 2️⃣ What is the relationship between the $A token and EOS?
Vaulta is fully transitioning to the $A token, while EOS will gradually fade into history:
• 🚫 EOS will no longer be used for staking or claiming rewards
• 🔁 EOS staking will be automatically converted to $A upon release
• 🪙 In the future, all staking, resource operations, and reward claims will only support $A
This is a key leap in the rebranding of Vaulta, with a clearer and more unified token economy.
📜 3️⃣ Key updates in system contract 3.10?
• Replace eosio.claimrewards → vaulta.claimrewards
• All rewards will be paid in $A, with support for automatic currency exchange
• Enable Gossip registration logic (from 3.9)
• Limit staking operations to only allow $A tokens
📅 The schedule is as follows:
• June 28 or July 1: Deploy Jungle testnet
• July 8: Mainnet MSIG proposal goes live (including time assertions)
🧪 4️⃣ What should node operators do now?
✅ Upgrade nodes to Spring v1.2.0
✅ Prepare Gossip key registration
✅ Update rewards script to adapt to vaulta.claimrewards
✅ Stop using EOS for staking operations
📌 Important Reminder: No conference call on July 2, resuming on July 9

🏁 Summary: This is a milestone moment for Vaulta's autonomous ecosystem
This is a comprehensive evolution of decentralized governance, token consistency, and infrastructure capabilities.
What do you think about Vaulta's shift to $A?
