🚨 Vaulta node operator meeting overview:
$A token switch, system contract 3.10 restructuring, Spring 1.2 release!
On June 25, 2025, Vaulta held a node meeting filled with content, discussing the formal transition of the $A token, system contract restructuring, and the launch of key features in Spring v1.2.0. Below is a summary of the most important updates👇
🧬 Spring 1.2.0 officially released:
Gossip-based automatic peer-to-peer interconnection feature launched!
• No more manual configuration of block node connections
• Supports dynamic node discovery and automatic adaptation of network topology
• Must be enabled with system contract 3.9 (will be integrated into 3.10)
💡 Tip: It is recommended that node operators upgrade to Spring 1.2.0 in advance to prepare for the new contract deployment.
🪙 System contract 3.10: Core reshaping of Vaulta's token
This is a historic step for the Vaulta network! Contract 3.10 officially marks:
📌 Staking and rewards will fully transition to the $A token!
🔁 EOS staking will automatically convert to $A, and in the future, staking can only be done with $A
💰 Block producer rewards will only be paid in $A, using vaulta.claimrewards to replace the old function
⚙️ The contract also includes support for automatic reward exchange (eosio.bpay update)
📆 Timeline:
• June 28 or July 1: Deploy to Jungle testnet
• July 8: Mainnet MSIG proposal submission (including time assertion)
🔄 Contract 3.9 released but will skip independent deployment
Although contract 3.9 has been completed to support the registration mechanism for Gossip features, the team decided to integrate its functionality into 3.10 for a simplified transition process.
🗓️ Node operators please note:
• Upgrade to Spring v1.2.0 now
• Wait to register the Gossip key after contract 3.10 deployment
• Test the block reward claiming process using the new claim script
📌 No conference call on July 2, resuming on July 9
📣 The team will continue to push dynamic updates and reminders on Telegram
🧠 Summary: This is not only a technical iteration but also a watershed moment for the Vaulta brand upgrade
✅ More powerful and automated network connection mechanism
✅ Clear token economic system: fully transitioning to $A
✅ Community governance is gradually maturing and becoming more efficient
What do you think about the process of $A replacing EOS?
Does this mean Vaulta is moving away from the past, building a more 'native' Web3 ecosystem?
