Since Elon Musk acquired the Twitter platform and renamed it "X", the ambition is clear: to transform it into a Super App similar to WeChat in China, combining social media, electronic payments, shopping, news, and artificial intelligence all in one place.
However, so far, the app is facing significant challenges:
- Frequent service outages and sudden interruptions.
- Layoffs of over 80% of employees, which has affected the infrastructure.
- Lack of managerial focus due to Musk's multiple companies.
- Strong competition from established apps like WhatsApp, Apple Pay, and Telegram.
- Huge regulatory complexities in the West hindering expansion.
Despite adding features like calls, payments, and encryption, X still lacks the stability and trust necessary to be a true Super App.
It opens new horizons for digital technology and will increase demand for cryptocurrencies.
