Breadth refers to how much you know. Depth refers to how thoroughly you study.

Breadth is your experience. Depth is your understanding.

Making money in other places, if you have breadth but shallow depth, it is difficult to make money and you may even lose money because there must be a specific execution path. Insufficient depth means poor execution or inability to execute.

In the cryptocurrency world, if you have breadth, you can make money even without depth. Having both breadth and depth allows you to make even more money because the execution path in the cryptocurrency world is very simple.

How does breadth come about? A person's character is bright, thinking is open, and they are good at using large logical frameworks to analyze problems. They trust logic, do not blindly believe in biased opinions, and are not swayed by emotions. Such a person's character allows them to accumulate breadth gradually as they gain more experience.

How does depth come about? It is cultivated by mobilizing your personal computing power to dig in, spending money and time to study, rather than just listening to others. Depth cannot be gained just by attending a few classes; it is a result feedback from genuinely doing it yourself.

If your personal computing power is not strong, leading to insufficient depth, then making money in the cryptocurrency world is very suitable. In this financial market, you can indeed earn a lot of money without needing much depth.

Establishing breadth is not a matter of personal computing power; it is a matter of character and logical thinking. A few days ago, someone around me told me that he does an offline yarn business, making 10 million a year but only earning 500,000. I said that was too little. I suggested he get into cryptocurrency, which is great. He said he is not interested in cryptocurrency. After ten years of struggling in his traditional industry, he surely has depth, but his statement of disinterest in cryptocurrency actually reflects a lack of breadth.

No one is really interested in the cryptocurrency world itself; the real interest lies in making money within it. Playing with airdrops, trading, checking information, sitting at home every day—who finds that interesting? It's a very boring thing; it's mainly about interest in cash.

I have encountered several people saying they are not interested. When I hear this answer, I shake my head. This answer is actually not facing oneself sincerely. The real answer should be: the cryptocurrency world seems to me to be deceiving and possibly illegal; I don't believe in it. Or simply, I don't understand this; the risks are too high, and I'm afraid of losing. These are sincere answers facing oneself.

Don't underestimate this sincere question; it is a quality linked to destiny.

Most of us have very ordinary computing power, but establishing appropriate breadth in the cryptocurrency world is enough to make money.

Having shallow depth doesn't matter because there are many deeply knowledgeable people who will study projects and market trends for you, and most of this information is almost free. Even if it's paid, it's cheap.

A person's depth requires digging very deep, which takes a lot of time and patience. The short-term cost-effectiveness is not very high, and I bet most people do not have the patience to dig deeper. Moreover, whether you make money or not is not decisively related to depth. A person with depth can score 100, while someone without depth can score 70, and that's enough. It's the industry itself that lifts you up, not 'depth' that lifts you up.

People with shallow depth and broad breadth, when playing in the cryptocurrency world, face very limited risks. Even if they incur losses, they won't lose much. However, they may still make a lot because they can leverage others' depth. They can utilize their breadth to quickly analyze whether a person has depth; and those with depth are very willing to share and communicate with those who have breadth.

People with depth are often lonely, bored, and isolated; they understand too much, and have a sense of invincibility inside them, which makes them extremely confident. Confident people are filled with overflowing energy; they like to share something with others, hoping that others can benefit, and those with breadth just happen to understand them.

People who neither have depth nor breadth tend to shrink inward. When they shrink, they extremely need to supplement their energy from the outside. People who shrink inward often feel inferior; what they need is to gain infinitely. Fundamentally, they cannot love this world; they tend to compare, possess, and feel jealous, so naturally, they have no desire to share anything with others.

In the cryptocurrency world, as long as you have basic breadth and simply trust others' depth, their depth will become your depth. Just follow their depth, and the market trends will eventually give you the answers.
