In a major trial in Hong Kong, Chainlink acted as an intermediary to connect e-HKD 🇭🇰 (Hong Kong's CBDC) with A$DC 🇦🇺 (a stablecoin pegged to the Australian dollar).

A national digital currency – known as CBDC – is the digital version of money issued by a central bank. It is similar to cash but runs on modern blockchain technology.

Chainlink uses its own technology (CCIP) to ensure that the currency exchange process between countries occurs instantly, securely, and without the need for intermediaries.
