🤔 The donation wallet of Ross Ulbricht, founder of the darknet market Silk Road, received a transaction of 300 BTC (approximately $31.4 million).
The origin of this large sum has generated speculation.
Some commentators have suggested that Ulbricht, who was pardoned in January by former U.S. President Donald Trump, could use these funds to launder profits he managed to hide from confiscation by authorities.
Previously, Conor Grogan, Product Director at Coinbase, identified 430 BTC in dozens of wallets allegedly linked to Ulbricht.
These assets had not been touched in 13 years and were not related to the ~174,000 BTC seized from Silk Road.
