Known globally as the ā€œEverest Man,ā€ Kami Rita achieved the feat on May 29, 2025, leading a team of climbers during the peak of the spring climbing season.

His latest ascent underscores a lifetime dedicated to the Himalayas. Since his first summit in 1994, he has climbed Everest nearly every year, showcasing exceptional resilience and mastery in one of the world’s most dangerous environments.

Born in the Solukhumbu district near Everest, Kami Rita has become a symbol of Nepali mountaineering excellence. His achievement was confirmed by Nepal’s Department of Tourism.
