99% of retail investors do not know the fundamental difference between professional trading 👇👇👇

I also started as a retail investor, so I understand the psychology of retail investors. I feel that the typical mindset of retail investors is to stare at the K-line (it’s so high, a crash is coming.....). Trading relies entirely on gut feeling, constantly engaging in frequent trades, holding positions based on emotions (counter-trend buying at the bottom, heavily investing for miracles; as long as you dare to hold on, you can make hundreds of millions in a year). These were all my previous slogans, but in the end, I've given away all my chips.

In fact, as a trader, 99% is about waiting ⏳ for the right market conditions to strike precisely.

You may think trading means constantly opening and closing positions, but that's not the case. The more you operate, the more mistakes you make. Not to mention the transaction fees, your capital will keep decreasing. Professional traders will tell you: to truly make money, you have to endure loneliness. Sometimes, you might go several days or even longer without making a trade. Once the market aligns with your trading system and reaches your expected entry point, act decisively.

🔥 Set your expectations, not your predictions.

🔥 Confirm trends, and enter decisively on pullbacks or reversals.

🔥 Set your profit targets within your range and establish your stop-loss and take-profit levels.

🔥 Don’t be greedy; decisively abandon profits outside of the market, only catch the body of the fish, and discard the head and tail.

The biggest feature of the market is its uncertainty.

All indicators, methods, and theories are just reasons for placing orders. Learning foundational knowledge will help you better understand K-lines (the flattening and graphing of buy and sell), rather than relying on feelings.

Major events, reports, etc. (commonly referred to as fundamentals) can cause all indicators to go awry (divergences and more). Uptrends do not guarantee peaks, and downtrends do not guarantee bottoms, commonly referred to as one-sided markets.

When trading, avoid being emotional, adopt a gambler’s mindset, and decisively stop-loss and exit in case of a wrong trend (minimizing losses is still profit). Wait patiently for the right opportunity and strike decisively.
