MetaMask Officially Integrates Solana Network
Metamask now officially integrates the Solana (SOL) network into its browser extension. With this, users can manage Ethereum (ETH) and Solana assets at the same time without having to change wallets.
This step marks the new beginning of MetaMask in penetrating the non-EVM network, as well as expanding its cross-chain. This integration is also believed to boost SOL's user base thanks to the ease of access offered.
With support for Solana-based token and dApps transactions, users can now interact directly with the Solana ecosystem through one interface. Not only that, Ethereum's typical security system will also be present for Solana accounts.
On the other hand, Consensys as a developer stated that they continue to be committed to building the future of Web3 that is open and cross-network.
They also added, this update gives new power for users to connect directly to all the features offered by the Solana ecosystem.
