On May 15th, Méliuz, a Brazilian fintech known for its cashback platform, acquired 274.52 bitcoin (BTC) for 28.4 million dollars. This allowed it to increase its holdings to 320 BTC.
This operation reinforces the strategy initiated in March and consolidates Méliuz as the first publicly traded company on the Brazilian stock exchange to hold its treasury in bitcoin, inspired by giants like Strategy, the largest public holder of this crypto asset.
