#CryptoRegulation
The European Union decided not to wait for the wild crypto market to devour itself and released the legendary MiCA — the first step towards an international 'order' in a world that previously had only blockchain, memes, and hope for freedom.
Now every CASP (if you are not a CASP — congratulations!) will have to:
🧱 have a charter capital,
🔐 protect clients' money (wow!),
🕵️ combat insider trading,
💼 have 'decent' management (in suits, apparently),
📚 regularly train employees,
💥 and, of course, ensure perfect cybersecurity (good luck!).
And tokens will be categorized by type
🍔 Stablecoins — under supervision, because fiat got offended.
🎟 Utility tokens — let them play.
💰 Asset tokens — well, maybe.
📈 Security tokens — only through special exchanges and with a prospectus, like on Wall Street.
Oh yes, and goodbye to anonymity! 🎭
Anonymous coins? Now they are like radioactive waste: you can touch them, but it's better not to.
NFT? DeFi? DAO? AML/CFT has already left, documents will be requested.
The 'Travel Rule' will ensure that no satoshi is left without a passport.
But now crypto will become 'safer', 'more attractive for investors', and 'less fun' 🪦
