1. 'Language of candles': what Japanese candles hide
Don't look at the color, but at:
- The length of the shadow (if the upper shadow is long = sellers are pushing the price up).
- Body of the candle (large green candle on volume = strong interest from buyers).
- Example: 3 consecutive candles with small bodies at a level = reversal.
👉 Training: Open the BTC/USDT chart on H1 — find 3 candles with long lower shadows (this is a support signal!).
2. Support/Resistance levels: where the 'crowd' makes mistakes
How to find:
- Price rebounds from one zone 3+ times = strong level.
- False breakout (price went past the level but closed back) = trap for beginners.
💡 Life hack: Turn on the line chart (menu on the left) — levels are clearer!
Example for Binance:
- ETH/USDT, D1 — look where the price reversed in May (this is the key level!).
3. Volumes: a 'loud' signal that everyone misses
What matters:
- Volume peaks at a level = big players are entering the trade.
- Small volume during a rise = fake (don't trust such movement!).
Where to look:
- On Binance, in the top menu of the chart, click 'Volume' — yellow bars will show activity.
👉 Check now: Open ADA/USDT on H4 — compare volumes on the last drop and rise.
4. Trend: how not to become a 'bear' in a bull market
Simple rule:
- Higher Highs + Higher Lows = ascending trend (buy on pullbacks!).
- Lower Highs + Lower Lows = descending (don't catch knives!).
📌 Test: Look at SOL/USDT (W1) — determine the trend in 3 seconds.
5. When NOT to trade (even if all signals are present)
- News (FOMC, CPI) = chaos on the charts.
- Night (UTC+3) = low volumes = manipulations.
- You're tired/angry = 100% mistake.
