The classic will take place under strict security measures, with 700 security personnel deployed (including 300 police and 140 civil guards) ā which is double the usual number for league matches.
The match has been classified as "high risk" by the Violence Prevention Committee, meaning that strict protocols will be applied at the entrances, more thorough inspections, and the organization of crowd entry in separate time slots.
The presence of extremist fans like "Ultras Sur" is not expected, which reduces the likelihood of clashes. The information exchanged by security officials between the two clubs is used to determine access routes, hotels, and fan locations, contributing to a precise management of any potential scenarios.
Security official Juan Salamania pointed out that everything is taken into account, from player statements to the appointment of the referee, and even the possibility of a fan entering wearing the opponent's jersey among the stands of the other team.
In the event of an emergency ā such as a dispute or a potential attack ā the situation will be assessed on the ground to avoid complicating matters further.
