Until today, there are no official confirmations regarding the latest movements of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator (or creator group) of Bitcoin. Satoshi disappeared from public life around 2010–2011, leaving the development of the cryptocurrency in the hands of the community. Since then, any movement attributed to him generates great interest, but there is very little verifiable evidence of any recent activity.
Important points:
- Known keys of Satoshi control nearly 1 million BTC, most of which has never been moved. Any transaction with those funds would be a strong indication of activity, but that has not happened yet.
- Recent messages supposedly from Satoshi sometimes appear on forums or social media, but are generally denied or considered fake by the community.
- In 2024 and 2025, there were no verifiable movements attributed to Satoshi, nor authenticated messages with his PGP keys.
