#EUPrivacyCoinBan !Goodbye to private coins in Europe!

The European Union has approved new regulations against money laundering that will prohibit the use of privacy coins like Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), and Dash, as well as anonymous crypto accounts, starting July 1, 2027. These measures aim to increase transparency in digital transactions and align cryptocurrencies with traditional financial standards.

Additionally, any crypto transfer exceeding 1,000 euros will require identity verification. The new Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) will oversee up to 40 crypto asset service providers in at least six EU countries.

While some applaud the initiative for combating illicit activities, others warn that it could affect the financial privacy of legitimate users. Is this the end of privacy in the European crypto world?
